Salesforce with Spring ’21 brought the ability to share records in lightning. With Summer ’21, it is now possible to view the sharing records (with whom it is shared), along with sharing reasons.
Once you click the Sharing Hierarchy action, you will be able to see the users having access to object(s).
And when you click on view, you can access the reason of sharing.
I am sure this would save a lot of time in switching to classic or query the records to just view related share records.
Note:
Sharing Hierarchy is available only for accounts, opportunities, cases, contacts, leads, and custom objects.
